Hot Springs, Arkansas is a little town with a lot of character and a surprising number of cool things to do for a community of under 40,000. Ranked no. 4 in John Vilani’s “Best Little Art Towns in America,” it boasts a thriving art scene with numerous galleries, a monthly gallery walk, live theatre, poetry readings, and six annual music festivals, featuring jazz, blues, classical music, opera, roots and rock-n-roll.

It is home to the country’s oldest solely Documentary Film Festival, various nonprofit arts organizations, a Museum of Contemporary Art (housed in a historic bathhouse), and a large community of established and up and coming artists.
